New cafe that usually does some excellent pizzas, paninis, sandwiches, coffees, teas, soft drinks, and muffins. (Update: as of 09/03 could only get a Falafel wrap / box, muffins, teas, and milkshakes - see photos of menu). Seems to be intermittently open due to lockdown, although was open today (Thursday 07/01/21). Hopefully will survive this as the proprietor seems a friendly chap and they do good food in a place that is usually just shops. For an idea of price, I ordered a Falafel wrap @ 4.50 a Ginger Beer can @ 1.20 = 5.70. Falafel wrap was unusually tasty and the wrap was fresh. Other prices: 9" pizza 5.99 - 7.99 12" pizza 5.99 - 9.99 Falafel Box - 5.50 Samosa (Lamb or veg) - 2.50 Baklava 1.20 or 5 for 5 *** Coffee / Hot chocolate - 2 - 3 (Small, Medium, or Large) Tea - 2 - 2.50 (3 Chai latte) One suggestion for them: Vegan / Vegetarian food. Before I became a Vegan, I had one of their Tuna panini's and it was delicious. Now I am Vegan: every single panini they do / did has meat / fish. Every single one. Pizzas have mushrooms, and 2-3 veggie options, although pizza is cheese-based so not Vegan (UPDATE 09/03: they do now have a "Veggie Deluxe" pizza, though pizzas were off). To be fair: they do Veggie Samosa's. Not sure about coffee / tea, but that's less of an issue. To be fair: the suggestion above is quite niche, and I'm soooooo glad that there's a cafe on that parade of shops as otherwise the nearest is The Magdalen Arms (sadly shut in lockdown). Plus their paninis and falafel wraps are delicious. If you do see them open, give them a go.
