Gitana is a genius! I was worried about my wedding dress not fitting as I had bought it online and the design meant it would just slip off me. The fabrics were so delicate that it seemed impossible to alter without damaging it. Gitana spent hours working on it so make it fit absolutely perfectly. Gitana is very professional and takes pride in her work. She wants the customer to leave happy with their outfit, therefore she wouldn't start a job unless she knows that the end result will be perfect. I took my dress to get the waist taken in and to cut some length off, and Gitana waited until I got the shoes that I would wear with the dress before even starting to work on the hem. As the dress has pleated tulle layers, she insisted that it'd be better for her to work on it while I'm wearing the dress to make sure it's perfect. And she really sat on the floor for almost an hour working on the dress. Price wise it's really not cheap, but you get the quality that you paid for. If you have delicate dresses that needs a lot of care to be altered, this is a very good place to do it. Thanks a lot for your help, I really love the dress now!

Highly recommend! I had a fantastic experience with Gitana at Bespoke Alterations Oxford! She went out of her way to accommodate me, charged reasonably for her skill, and showed expertise in her knowledge and ability. She fixed a difficult neckline on a bridesmaids dress made out of silky, slippery material without leaving a trace of any work.
