Lamb Catering

Lamb catering have been serving team lunches at our company in Oxford for over a year. We have a dedicated account manager who looks after all of our requirements. Simon, Samantha & Jonny always ensure the quality of food & service is of high standards. The produce Lamb catering use is always of high quality, and the level of detail team goes to make your events memorable & special is at a very high level. Having used their service for our regular lunches, they have also assisted us in holding Christmas and summer company events. The team is capable of dealing with high volumes. Highly recommended!

We chose Lamb Catering as the caterer for our wedding and were blown away with how fantastic they were! Every detail was considered and executed thoroughly - we had a dedicated member of the team who assisted us from start to finish (shout out to Jane!); she was enthusiastic, professional and informative on how the catering would work, crockery and linen options, food options etc. We didn't feel any undue pressure from Lamb and were grateful for how accommodating and helpful they were - we had a larger wedding and the team were always on the end of the phone to take our questions; including giving advice on how much alcohol and soft drink to purchase. On the day, the front of house staff were fantastic - they were attentive and many of our guests commented on how brilliant the service was. Most importantly however, is that the food was amazing. We had a lamb main course which was cooked to perfection. Everything down to the canape's was delicious. We're so happy that Lamb joined us in the run up to, and on, our special day and cannot thank them enough for all their hard work!!

Would choose no star if we could. Would not recommend approaching this caterer if you are planning a small wedding or other event. Through our wedding planner, we had got in touch with Lamb Catering for an enquiry re our wedding. After initially being positive that they would be able to do the catering for our wedding, their responsiveness later became patchy and we felt that we were strung along for two months until shortly before our wedding date when we decided to try and find someone else since they still had not finalised the contract with us. We got the impression that we were held on the backburner just in case a bigger wedding would come along, with Lamb Catering apparently not caring whether we would be able to find a caterer at short notice (the venue only permitted us to choose from a restricted list of caterers, which they knew). If they do not want to cater for small events that is fine and their choice, but it is unprofessional to put us in such a situation rather than communicating early on that they would not take the job.
