I was very impressed with the level of care I received from Dr Gamble. He was thorough and took the time to explain clearly what the issues were and how to manage them. It's great to find a consultant who combines a friendly, approachable manner with a high level of professional expertise.

Dr James Gamble is very professional. Thorough in his history taking and examination, he answers all questions and provides an easily understood explanation with management plan. I even received a copy of his letter to my GP the same day. How quick is that! With a friendly, knowledgeable manner, which establishes confidence, I have no hesitation in recommending Dr James Gamble.

Thorough assessment by James Gamble, and careful, intelligent explanation. He wrote to my own GP within 24 hours with a complete account of my situation, an expert combination of what I had told him and what he had discovered for himself. She immediately followed his advice. I am very happy indeed to recommend Dr Gamble's services. Would that I could say the same for the Manor Hospital in Oxford. Quite impossible to make phone contact with the place, which is extremely annoying. The hospital is run by Nuffield Health, a company keen to issue invoices, but less interested in checking that the invoices carry the correct name of the consultant - or even the correct name of the hospital.

Dr Gamble was friendly, helpful, and above all, thorough. He gave a considered diagnosis and made sure I understood it fully. He took the time to discuss the various options, again ensuring I understood what was involved.
