The first haircut I ever got from this place was excellent, but the quality has plummeted since then. Each time I return, I get more dissatisfied with the haircut and this is after showing them the exact same photo as the first time! Not sure why they always get it wrong. Used to be my go-to place for a cut, but wont be patronising them anymore as it seems like they look at pictures of hairstyles in a completely different way than I do. What is even more upsetting, however, is their opaque pricing policy. There used to be a price list on the storefront, but not anymore. I suspect that they charge customers whatever they feel like. The last time I went there, I paid 16 after a student discount. This means that over the past 1 year that Ive patronised them, the price has gone up by more than 30% (and again, I get the exact same cut each time). I know that times are tough now, but the rate of inflation the past year in the country has not even been 15%. The price hike is clearly a move to take unfair advantage of customers who are feeling the pinch of inflation as much as they are. Additionally, sometimes they say that they only accept card on weekdays, but on occasion Ive found that they also accept card payments on weekends. Someone explain the inconsistency! It pains me as a loyal customer to have to write this review but Ive become increasingly unhappy with and disillusioned by the service here. I wish them all the best, but I will not be returning again.
