Closed. So Cornmarket is the only branch. Go there and wait for one hour to be seen. Try using telephone banking and you never get through. HSBC is now a joke.

Was told I could take forms to close my deceased mothers account to any branch Went to this one to be told by a ginger haired male that the balance had to be nil He offered no advice was very rude and wouldn't give his name.Glad I I don't bank with HSBC with customer service like that

Went in to simply change some coins into notes, the jobsworth at the counter said they could only do that for HSBC customers. This never used to be the rule. And what a pathetic rule it is. Complete joke - what's the point of high street bank branches these days? It's no wonder they are all closing when they are this useless.

Tyronne is the most impertinent man I have ever come across. HSBC should not allow a person like him to have contact with the public. He was, today, rude, aggressive and arrogant. I came to the branch today only to request a form and was treated dreadfully by Tyronne. He snatched and grabbed and was aggressive both in his tone and manor. A lady customer also in the branch was horrified at his behaviour and later told me this same man treated her in a similar way the day before. I will not be going to this branch again and can only hope HSBC re thinks this mans position.
