Initially was good - however the lady I dealt with was rather rude on the phone asking me to forward emails and give her details of pricing from other galleries so she could log an enquiry I told her I didnt feel comfortable sending emails from other galleries to her and she wouldnt take no for an answer. Called again afterwards and was quite pressuring even when Id already told her Ill buy it elsewhere. Definitely wont be returning here again

Today, I visited the Castel Fine Art Gallery in Oxford. I was unaware of this gallery prior to my visit, but my friend and I decided to explore it due to its impressive collection. We were amazed by the Bob Dylan's limited edition paintings and books, and were looking forward to a positive experience. Unfortunately, our visit was not as pleasant as we had expected. We noticed that the gallery representative, dressed in a white shirt, was constantly staring at us with a deadpan expression. It felt like we were not welcomed there and were being monitored. We understand that we are students and cannot afford to buy these collectables and artwork, but we expected more courtesy from the staff. The strange behavior made us uncomfortable and we decided to leave the gallery. As an aspiring artists , we know how to handle artworks and exhibitions. We were not there to harm the gallery or anything else. We were both hurt by this incident and would like the authorities to look into this matter.

Well what can I say love it we have brought so much art from this gallery and the one in Cheltenham and exter. We have now run out of wall space. Big fan of Paul Kenton and Simon. Claridge. Last visit was my daughters 21st birthday present.
