A really lovely hotel with spotless rooms and the most delicious breakfast. It's only about an 8 minute drive into Glastonbury and there was free parking. It is not in the middle of the countryside (as I somehow thought it was looking at the photos on the booking site) but on the main road going through Meare Village - which was not a problem. You do have to drive to get to pubs/restaurants but again there are places a short distance away and can highly recommend The Sheppey, Godney. The hotel is dog friendly and the friendly host treated our pooch very nicely. Recommended!
