All the components of a good National Trust location with a slight difference that the team is even more friendly and engaging than in other locations. Beautiful grounds with the usual selection of coloured line walks to match the distance you fancy. House itself is compact and doesn't take long to walk around - but has quite a few interesting artefacts along the way. Then exit through the gift shop into a beautiful courtyard where we had really well priced and delicious jacket potatoes in the sun There are lots of nice touches scattered around the grounds including deck chairs which are a nice way to relax and take in the ambiance for a while. Recommended.
