Owslebury Primary School Winchester

One of the reasons we moved to Owslebury from Winchester was because we wanted our 3 Children to go a small School with more of a family feel. Owslebury Primary School has not disappointed. The quality of teaching is incredible and the sense of family amongst the children is remarkable. We could not have wished for a better Primary School for our Children.

This is a delightful school, where staff and families get to know each other well and children are really made to feel welcome as individuals. I was very impressed by the stay and play programme for school starters, the activities were very engaging and the children had a wonderful opportunity to get to know their future classmates and feel excited about school. The support for parents and carers was excellent too, with lots of helpful advice on supporting the children with phonics and reading and their learning in general. The lovely setting and outdoor space is a bonus!

Our decision to pro-actively move our son to Owslebury Primary was probably one of the best decisions we have ever made. He could not have had a better primary school experience than the one he enjoyed at Owslebury, and it gave him a superb springboard going into his secondary education. The leadership and staff have created a fantastic supportive, friendly, community feeling within the school, and in addition are able to deliver personalised inspiring teaching to the pupils, ensuring they all achieve their full potential both academically and socially. 5 Stars without question !! :-)
