Rachel had a very challenging brief - she asked her to create a design that appealed to both me and my daughter when we worked together on our Pimlico townhouse. Rachel's eye for timeless elegant style is fantastic and was perfectly suited to our joint project. Her extensive knowledge of product suppliers meant that she was able to advise on different alternatives and less expensive options where necessary, without distracting from the overall quality and style of our final design. Thank you, Rachel, I really can't wait to get started on my new living room design. I had been pondering for a long time, not knowing what to do with my Living Room. I couldn't make up my mind about colours and the look I wanted to create. And understand why lovely ornaments didn't seem to look right wherever I put them. I loved the process and found every step so exciting. Rachel really did put her heart and soul into the project and produced fantastic ideas and colours complimenting every aspect of the room - I'm thrilled with the results. Thank you!!! Following a stressful and expensive kitchen extension and refit leaving us rather jaded, it was wonderful to consult with Rachel Niddrie on interior design plans. Our Victorian detached house has wonderful light, well-proportioned rooms and high ceilings - apart from the kitchen which was small, dark and rather drab! Opening up and bringing light in made all the difference and we were very eager to complete this with a contemporary look, but one which remained sympathetic to the period and style of the property. Rachel was inspiring and resourceful seeking out bold patterns for our flooring to complement the kitchen we had chosen. We love the look she helped us to create and are grateful to her for encouraging us to take a far more dramatic approach than we had considered. When we later turned attention to our sitting room lighting Rachel again encouraged us to be bold, this time recommending we provide a home for a beautiful vintage chandelier. Once again her instinct for what will work, alongside her understanding of our tastes and budget have enabled a blend of contemporary and traditional style which suits the house and has helped to create a home which we love.
