It was our first family camping experience... and we loved it at Misty Meadows! Extremely well run, we stayed when at max capacity and it was clean - didn't feel too busy (apart from the single pot wash sink), the owner had arranged for a mobile coffee shop that weekend which was a good touch. Our boys loved paddling in the river and playing on the rope swing and being sourrounded by nature followed by sitting in front of camp fires at night.
