Reading the reviews Im glad we wasnt the only ones. Rude and passive aggressive. 6 to park and cash only but can pay in the kiosk with card ONLY if you spend 2.50 on some random rubbish in their shop and over priced food so to park was 8.50. Lots of signs to treat you like children. 100% regret giving them any money. If you dont mind a walk park national trust and walk down. Shame as the beach is lovely and quite just controlled by a miserable gate keepers.

1/2 an hour to get a sandwich and 2 bacon an egg baps, Eventually when the order arived the bap only had bacon in it! Also the cafe is not next to the beach and is a 3-5 min walk. I will never come again

I gave the kiosk five stars because the food and drink was much more reasonably priced that other venues and the food was prepared quickly and tasted wonderful

People going here complain about the 6 toll road price and how terrible the kiosk is so just go to ringstead in the winter when there's no one collecting the toll Money and the kiosk is shut, but the big unmark big speed bumps will still be there to demage your vehicles.

This beachside caf is down a long road which lets you know its private and you need to pay 6 when you finally reach the end. The charmless man at the bottom, to be fair, did charge us half price as it was after 4pm. I gave him a fiver and I swear he was expecting me to tell him to keep the change. The cafe isnt by the beach - Its a few minutes walk away and its more a shack which sells all sorts of stuff from camping stoves and plastic toy guns to ice creams and a basic food menu. Theres a lot of tat. We went there expecting/ hoping to have something to eat looking out over the Sea before a long drive home but in that regard we were disappointed - Our 6 YO had an ice cream at a picnic bench and that was that, before we walked down to the beach, which is stunning. The cafe has the most impressive collection of passive aggressive notices Ive ever seen. Its quite a thing in Dorset, from what I saw, to forget that if youre in a service industry where you deal with customers, you arent doing them a favour by being there or taking their money. That said, this place took it to a new level, with windows, countertops and other available space plastered with angry notices scrawled on anything from paper to old bits of cardboard box; its like at random times someone just gets angry or irritated by something and decides to write it down and stick it somewhere - The place oozes with bitterness. Remember that Seinfeld episode where they have to get in line for the soup? I was fully expecting that. Standing there in a queue, waiting to pay for the ice cream I wondered if the owner really was that miserable and whether they have a massive stomach ulcer or a heart condition. Id be concerned for their welfare if so. Its a British thing, too. In no other country Ive been to (and Ive been lucky enough to travel a lot) would people think its OK to chide customers before theyve even interacted with them. As Brits, we still just cant get the service thing right. Its like its being done grudgingly. To be fair, the redheaded young lady who served us was perfectly pleasant but we heard an older lady clucking about in the back, moaning about something to someone else. Time for another note. Ill pay the car park fee to go again, as while seems a bit steep its actually no worse than what youd pay in Weymouth and at least theyre not charging you by the minute here, but Id recommend that if you want some food by the lovely bay here, take your own and then have a look at the ridiculous notices on the way past. Their ham egg and chips or whatever else may well be delicious (we didnt try it), but personally I wouldnt give money to people who clearly view their customers as a necessary evil and a nuisance. According to one of the numerous notices manners cost nothing - Perhaps they need to start reading their own signs..
