Maya Swan Portraits

For a long time I have admired Maya's work so, as a treat to myself to celebrate my recent 'big' birthday, I booked a photo session. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience, from having my hair and makeup done to posing for the camera, as Maya made me feel so relaxed and comfortable. I am delighted with the resulting portraits, which have certainly captured me as I am now and will be a pleasure to look back on in years to come. Thank you, Maya!

Such a professional and friendly atmosphere! I had an amazing experience from doing my hair and make up to taking my best shots. I can see on the photos a different side of me that was hidden deep but she managed to get it out on the surface. No doubt I will be returning for more photoshoots and bringing family and friends! I hate my photo being taken because Im such a face-ache that I never look like I think I will. For some reason I am so animated that it is difficult to get a sensible shot. My husband finds posing for photos excruciating so I only gave him a weeks notice and even then he changed his mind three times. I even changed my mind once and told him not to come but I am SO glad he did. Hes had a great summer on furlough rowing, working out and sunbathing and frankly I wanted to capture the results! We were both nervous but Maya and the helpful Stan were so welcoming that we soon relaxed and had fun. Maya is delightfully funny and the morning went in a flash. Im amazed Maya managed to get as many great pictures as she did. We are both really pleased with the results. Even my reluctant daughters have said how good they are! Thank you again Maya, you are a genius both in and out of the editing suite! Jill and Duncan McCulloch
