We came up here at extremely short notice and got in touch in the off chance we would be able to stay at the swallow cottage, to our amazement Kate said it was not a problem at all. Firstly let me explain Kate... What a lovely woman she is, myself and my wife was instantly uplifted after speaking to her and after the last place let us down at the last minute, it was exactly what we needed, she was welcoming, very friendly and informative. Cottage... I don't think they're was a single thing we could have needed that this brilliant place didn't provide, proper cute lodge from the outside but really big inside, speaking of inside the underfloor heating on slate tiles = perfect, bang upto date kitchenette area, dining table was nice and large with little subtle candles and things, very nicely decorated indeed, bedroom had loads of storage from dressers to wardrobe and more space than I'd need, bed was not only comfy but what ever the bedding was washed in smelt devine, shower/toilet super clean and shower had great heat and pressure even had separate heater controls for flooring, same in bedroom. Attached utility had washer, dryer, brooms, spare towels a freezer a normal large Dyson AND .... the best micro Dyson hoover ever (I'm certainly buying one of them)... It's the over and above that sets it out even down to spare dog beds amd treats for dogs free of charge, even had a array of different tea's and coffee's to use (not for dogs obviously)... Farm area... I mean check Google by all means but without seeing the place you won't get it, the work that has been done and the effort put into this farm is amazing and the area is stunning, as much as we enjoyed our visit we have to return minus the cold and snow to fully appreciate it with the pond and stuff but the rolling hills in the background just makes you feel at ease for sure. We will be returning here for a fact. So what I really want to say is thankyou for making mine and my wife's experience great.
