0086 supermarket

I recently visited 0086 Supermarket and unfortunately had a negative experience. Upon entering the store, I was met by staff moving in my direction and had to adjust my body to avoid colliding with them. In doing so, I accidentally bumped into a stand housing pastries in plastic containers, causing one to fall from poorly stacked shelves and open a box. I immediately apologized and handed the fallen pastry to the counter. I continued with my shopping and as I approached the checkout to pay, I was then confronted by a staff member who asked me to pay for the pastries that fell, even though it was clearly an accident and the shelves were not stacked properly. Despite my attempts to compromise and offer to pay for half the cost, the staff member at 0086 Supermarket was unwilling to budge, even at the cost of losing a customer for life. It is worth noting that I had intended to make a purchase at the counter at the time of the confrontation, but had not yet spent over 30 on goods in the shop. As a result of this interaction, I felt very frustrated and disrespected as a customer. I would like to note that I understand accidents can happen, but the way this situation was handled by the staff member was very disappointing. As a customer, I expect to be treated with respect and understanding, and unfortunately, this was not the case at 0086 Supermarket. Instead of making a purchase, I left the store and decided to take my business to their local competitor, Shop&Go. In light of this negative experience, I would like to recommend shopping at Shop&Go instead. In my recent visit to Shop&Go, I was pleased with their customer service and common sense approach. Unlike my experience at 0086 Supermarket, they did not exhibit a backward mentality and seemed more willing to understand and accommodate their customers. Retaining that particular staff member may have negative consequences for the business, as it could lead to further losses in customer satisfaction and loyalty. In my opinion, it would be in the best interest of the business to take immediate action to address this issue. Failure to do so may result in further customer dissatisfaction and loss of loyalty. I strongly believe that revising their policies or providing better training to their staff would be a positive step towards ensuring a more positive shopping experience for all customers.

Im Chinese and this shop reminds me of home because its so authentic. They have snacks from my childhood and honestly, I miss tea eggs and sausages from convenience stores. The staff here are so kind and helpful too!

They charge more than the price on the label! I went to this supermarket with my friend today and bought the tangyuan (riceball) in the photo. When we checked out, they charged us 3.09 instead of 2.29. This couldnt be a single case for us, please do watch out if the value they charge matches the price label!
