The staff was nice but the food I had was very basic. The starter was a rocket salad or rocket, radishes, LL walnuts and feta cheese. It had no dressing but there was balsamic vinegar and olive oil on the table. It was garnished with a whole spring onion which was just confusing.
The main was some rice which albeit well cooked was mixed with dill and then a salmon fillet with absolutely no seasoning at all was pan fried and placed on top. I was served alongside more rocket. It was amongst the blandest things I've ever tasted. It was dry and entirely devoid of flavour.
I didn't want to be rude but when I saw the bill come in I nearly cried. The food had been so uninspired I felt as though they had reached into my pockets and robbed me blind. That's not to say it was expensive, but to say that it had offered me very little utility outside of being technically food.
On top of this we waited over an hour and a half to receive our mains which we had pre-ordered. They said it was because of the marathon but it's safe to say I won't be returning to find out.
Now this was just the Iranian dishes and apparently the half who ordered Italian dishes said that their food was nicer, but i chose what I chose and generally I expect restaurants to have a bare minimum.
