Dont understand the point. Couldn't access psychiatrist in my area. Psychology but only 8 sessions at the end of which she said 'of course you don't feel better, you haven't had nearly enough'. But PHP wont extend it, you just get told to pay the psychologist privately. I have depression and PTSD both caused by work but PHP don't help you. It seems to be just a sample taster of psychology to generate private work for them. Disgusting use of NHS resources which should instead be put into community mental health teams to actually treat people.

As with all CQC Outstanding trusts, PH take the simplest, easiest to treat and leave everyone else to die. Originally website said they did 'specialist outpatient care' but when I enquired about this they said they didn't, and have now removed this from webpage. Webpage says they treat complex disease, and will support specific issues e.g. returning to work, alongside your other NHS mental health team, however after an appointment where a clinician agreed they would support me with this, the next appointment they informed me they would not and immediately discharged me. PHs mission statements are completely false- they do not offer any support to doctors with mental health diagnoses, only those with minor stresses or burn out.
