Great fun and Julie is an excellent teacher. You're taken through the basics of throwing a pot with clear explanations and instructions. You're shown 'how to' and then get a chance to actually get your hands onto the clay. With a little help, and in one case perhaps rather a bit more help, I managed two pots in the time. Julie will then take the pots, bisque fire them and glaze them in the glazes of your choice. It's then about a month's wait and when they're fired, you get some nice pots you've made yourself. This was a present for my birthday and I really enjoyed it - I recommend it for anyone interested in crafts, pottery or just for those who've already got everything

We did this as a couple and absolutely loved it! Julie was very knowledgable and explained the basics before we got going on the wheels. Having the 1:1 support and attention meant we produced some decent pottery rather than us trying to stumble through and making a vague clay something! Very happy with what we produced and cannot wait to see the finished result after glazing etc.

I bought a private pottery throwing experience for 2 for mine and my Husbands 9 years (pottery) wedding anniversary. We have never done anything like it before so I was a little nervous being a complete beginner. But we went this morning and had the best time! Julie was a really lovely host and teacher and helped us to create 4 lovely items. It was a super relaxed and comfortable environment and we were really pleased and surprised with what we managed to achieve. I cant wait to see the pieces once theyve been glazed and are the finished products. I would 100% go and do this again and very highly recommend to anyone! Thank you so much for a lovely time!

A wonderful family throwing experience. We learnt so much and had great fun getting messy. It was a great opportunity to try something new with our children and we have all come away with some unique creations.

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our 2 hour workshop with Julie. Julie explained and demonstrated everything very clearly and I was amazed how much we learnt and what we were able to make in a couple of hours. Really good fun and relaxing. Thank you!
