For the second consecutive week, I have walked away without not only not buying anything, I didn't even get to order. Last week there were 9 pupils from Oundle School who filled the shop. They eventually ordered? A portion of cheesy chips and a large chips. A lot of other customers came up to the shop, saw the queue and cleared off. I don't know who the front of counter bloke (black lank hair), is but he has the customer service skills of Vladimir Putin. The whole ordering/queuing system is a shambles; lanky hair won't let you order direct from Mr Fryer - he prefers you to stand there like a lemon for 15 minutes while he serves other customers. The fish and chips are very good, but life is too short for me to spend half an hour in there.
