Having had a string of bad instructors who had no patience, shouted at me, laughed at me and made me feel like a failure, I was almost put off driving forever. However this all changed when I started having lessons with Maria, she understood that I was very under confident and due to having dyslexia that it took me a while to understand things. She would go through manoeuvres with me step by step, drawing illustrations making it as clear as possible, and although I made plenty of mistakes, (sometimes dangerous ones) she never lost her patience and always had that belief in me that I didn't have in myself. Last Friday, I passed my practical driving test, something which I honestly never thought I could do and that is all thanks to Maria, who has guided and supported me all the way. If you're looking for a excellent driving instructor then I would definitely recommend Gear Up with Maria.
