Knightstone Farm Devon Glamping & Shepherds Hut

Stayed in the shepherd's hut at otters holt and seriously fell in love it's so quaint and gorgeous has everything you could possibly want and is set in beautiful surroundings. The shower is a bit hit and miss but so what your glamping in the beautiful Devon countryside. Vicki and Dave the owners are lovely they come to welcome you chat about things the local area/things to do and see and leave their mobile phone contact should you wish to call them for anything. Would definitely recommend this place and will hopefully be coming back soon. Almost forgot to mention the wonderful hot tub perfect for relaxing in after a long day exploring

We really enjoyed our stay at Otters Holt Shepherd's Hut. The hut was beautifully decorated, including details with Christmas decorations and lights, which made it very special. The beds were very comfortable and the hut was more spacious than I'd expected and the perfect size for our family of 2 adults and 2 children with a good sized shower and well-equipped kitchenette. The log burner warmed up the space very quickly and made a very cosy atmosphere. Vicki and Dave were excellent hosts and gave us a friendly welcome. The hot tub was a lovely addition and was worth the wait whilst it heated up! The area is beautiful - peaceful and secluded, yet close to Ottery st Mary and some lovely walks. We had a delicious meal at the Golden Lion in Tipton-st-John and enjoyed our stay very much.

We hired the safari tent. Big spacious with friendly owner. Beautiful area. Nice locals.

Visited in February 2019 and really had no complaints. A nice, quite place, well kept, a perfect place for a relaxing weekend away. Fortunately we had free reign of the place as there were no occupants in the residence next to ours and we attempted to use the wood fired hot tub but for a cold rainy February day, we weren't really going to complain that it wasn't great (in summer, we think this would be great and will likely try to visit again!). The owners were nice and welcoming and only a call or 5 minutes away, not that we required their assistance for anything.
