This was our second lunchtime visit to The Lanb and Flag and was not disappointed. We both chose the Gourmet Burger which was huge and cooked to perfection. The waitress was really friendly and efficient. We will definitely be visiting again in the New Year.

Not sure where all these people ate, but my steak was definitely still alive when asked for medium rare. The normal ribeye was 19 and the surf and turf was 23 the difference in the dishes was 3 small deep fried or microwaved (apparently king prawns). When the meal came out it was drenched in oil, and the salad was warm. My wife had the so called home made fish cakes, they looked as if they were deep fried and straight from the packet. For desert we both ordered brownie, when it came out it had been microwaved so much you touch it with a spoon and it turned to liquid. We asked for table water and it never arrived, the waitress was on her own but when looked over she was tucking into a packet of doughnuts. I'm not sure if they have a chef and they are trying to keep the place going, which I respect. Just don't charge high end prices for the standard of food they were producing. On the plus side the waitress discounted the 1 appletise my wife had for the inconvenience. Friendly staff, but everything else about our experience was really below average.
