        Entering this place was like stepping back in time, because it's a genuine old, rustic country pub with a log burner and the kind of atmosphere that is rare in today's world dominated by gastropubs and sports bars. Friendly landlady, good choice of ales and ciders, interesting menu. The roast dinner was highly recommended by a regular. Certainly worth a visit. I only stopped for a drink, but will return for a meal.

        Nice little countryside pub, lovely people, kind, polite and pleasant, very welcoming. Lovely food and with good portions, would recommend stopping here if passing by

        We had great food and good service for our family lunch. Mussels in marinire/a la crme were actually excellent. Well worth a detour to go. Im sure well be back.
