Bob was asked by me to investigate a damp issue in a Victorian terraced property in Horfield, Bristol. He supplied a thorough and well laid out report identifying the issues and recommending remedial options. After we obtained quotes he looked at these for us and gave us his views which was all extremely helpful. He is completely independent so can be trusted not to recommend unnecessary work and he has knowledge and experience of dealing with damp issues, coupled with knowledge of local contractors, which is invaluable. Thoroughly recommended. Definitely my "go to" expert in relation to any damp problems.

In short: Book Bob! - thorough, knowledgeable, professional and a nice person! Bob carried out a damp and timber report (requested by our mortgage lenders) on the late 1800's property we have now bought, we knew it had damp issues; Bob found the timber/damp affected areas, identified the root causes and made suggestions on rectification. The service received was fantastic, Bob's expert knowledge was clear from the onset, he was very thorough and methodical; the observations made along with rectification suggestions have proven to be correct. We received the report within the timescale Bob had given us and it was very in depth (in a good way) and reflected what he had verbally explained to us after surveying the property. The report is easy to understand (for a non-builder) with images of the issues; ample information for other professional services to be hired to rectify. The conditions at the time were unusual as Covid-19 was in full flow with limitations in place, Bob was superb with this he gave his own working practice (all sensible) regarding Covid-19 in good time, prior to works commencing and was very sensible throughout the survey. In person Bob is a professional, well mannered and approachable individual of whom I would most definitely trust to survey a property alone. Thanks again Bob! All the best!

We have used Bob twice to provide a report on different damp issues we have had with our old house. Both times the report has been thorough and detailed, with clear recommendations. I trust him to provide the best course of action for us.
