What a gorgeous place! The main kitchen/ dining/ living area is really leagues above any lodge Ive stayed in before. Super open. Well equipped kitchen. Had everything we needed (except a peeler!). Big fridge freezer. Induction hob was a bit fiddly but we got used to it. Cute hamper of goodies on arrival including Prosecco. We ordered a delivery of groceries to the lodge and it arrived with no issue. Bedroom nice and comfy. One en suite bathroom and one main bathroom. Great for 5 people sharing. TV in one bedroom. We stayed during a heatwave and it got SUPER hot. We did bring a fan with us, couldnt find one there. Comfy sofas and good dining area. TV in a bit of an awkward place but no big issue. Decor of the place but odd, sort of jungle vibe which didnt fit the area. Plastic chandelier not my favourite centrepiece. Outside was great for outdoor dining, separate sofas and of course the hot tub which was the perfect temperature for an evening soak. We used it every day and it got inspected every morning. George Forman grill outside very handy. Got bitten plenty but oh well!! Not super private outdoor area, there are lots of other lodges around but it was never an issue. Would absolutely recommend this place. Some of the nicest walks Ive been on just a drive away. Lovely restaurant round the corner. Saw a couple of red squirrels, but I think it was a bit hot for nature!

We had an amazing time at Settlers Lodge. Booking with Karen was very smooth and easy. We had a lovely welcome gift, and it was just the icing on the cake after seeing how beautiful the lodge was. Its decorated to such a high standard. The kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. The hot tub was such a relaxing facility. It was checked every day by the site, so we didnt have to worry about the water levels being safe to use. We would highly recommend and cant wait to come back! Thank you so much Karen!

I stayed at Settlers Lodge for a few nights with friends and we all had a great weekend. The hot tub is so relaxing, the facilities are extremely modern and homely. Everything we needed was provided. I highly recommend Settlers Lodge and will be returning soon, thank you!
