After using otley hire centre for some years for new machinery and repairs I feel the need to warn others about the repair service that i received, after dropping a stiga ride on off with them for short of two weeks with an obvious engine issue blowing what looked like white smoke and a bad burning smell coming from the exhaust to be told they couldnt find an issue but still charging over 250 for three hours labour and a few parts! The issue persisted and got worse so it was returned to them and sat again for a week due to being too busy!! I picked up the machine and took it to another mower shop to be told it was definitely a head gasket at 9 without even inspecting the machine! Unfortunately after speaking to the business owners with no resolution and me being blamed for NOT describing the issue clearly I walked away very annoyed and disappointed! Parts service excellent, repair service questionable
