The customer service I received from Ally and Martyn was A1. I whole heartedly recommend Glide n Slide and, even though I live in suffolk, will not hesitate to travel all the way to Otley, for my next pair of ski boots and accessories.

I have a Morton's neuroma and bony spur on my left foot and assumed that I would always have pain in my foot when I skied as I always have done, despite attempts to mould boots around my foot. A colleague recommended Glide 'n' Slide and I got fitted with fantastic boots. It's the first time ever that I've managed to keep a left boot on all day without having to remove it due to pain. I highly recommend Glide 'n' Slide.

I bought two pairs of skis from Glide & Slide and sent them to my home in California. The prices were great with end season discount & VAT refund due to export. While their service was even greater. The shop manager Martyn is a great guy yet an expert on skis, he answered all my questions very professionally and always in timely manner, often I received a reply to my email within the same day! He guided me all the way through the export process and made it very easy. I would say in some way, even easier than my online shopping within the US. I received the skis in perfect condition, and this was such a pleasant shopping experience. I will surely come back if I need other items and will recommend Martyn & his shop to my friends without second thought.

The friendly team at Glide and Slide couldnt have been more helpful today. We went to get a helmet for my son who wears a Bone anchored hearing aid and also has autism and ADHD. He is going on his first ski trip with school in a few weeks and after a lesson at Xscape yesterday we realised that the helmet situation was going to be a problem. They were able to advise and let him try every helmet suitable and even suggested an external company that could help with a custom made helmet that would meet my sons needs. We managed to find the correct helmet for him using his hearing aid in a slightly different way but we felt this was the best solutions and they really were great with their advice and patience.

Id just like to say a quick thank you to the staff and for the exemplary service I received from them for a recent ski purchase, these skis were super cheap yet I was treated like Id bought the most expensive set in the shop, they ensured they had all the correct details from me before setting up and sending me my skis and were polite and diligent throughout, the skis arrived promptly and well packed and I cannot recommended this shop enough, thank you
