Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery and Preschool Otley

As Otis grandparents we are very pleased with his contribution in all the interesting projects. Please to meet the staff and seeing the premises where the children spend their day.

We had our son in Monkey Puzzle Otley, West Yorkshire for a year and although it was good for his development and the majority of staff were caring, one of the new starters and both of the managers communication was not acceptable and we have been appalled by the treatment we have received numerous times. The correspondence between ourselves and the staff was ridiculous to be mild, we had a lot of indifference and were frankly worried for our child's wellbeing at times. They purely want your money and any request for some kind of flexibility was met with derision. The app message portal was overwhelming with their constant notification and messages but we were never told any useful information e.g. tax-free child care of which we missed out on for 6 months etc. To cap it all off our son became seriously ill with hospital treatment and we had been told by doctors to remove him from nursery for the minimum of 5 weeks and potentially for months, we requested a "pause period" and in response to this we were kicked off the parent app and after a struggle to find a channel of communication it turned out his place had been cancelled, no refund would be offered and we would have to re-apply. This happened within few days after our hospital stay. We were in a very fragile situation and needed a bit of space but on top of this insulting treatment we were asked to still provide them with information about our son and our initial request about refund haven't even been addressed!! We have been disgusted and unsettled by this treatment and are really struggling to understand why. There are other options out there and we strongly recommend anyone to avoid this place.

The staff are lovely and have made a great bond with my 2 children! We have experienced each of the rooms now and everyone is always amazing, my children love going here which tells me they are happy, well cared for and entertained! They always get involved in the community holding collections and going for trips around which is lovely also. Loads of great learning experiences which Ive not had from other nursery settings such as learning of different cultures where they have themed interactive weeks etc and learning about the environment encouraging children to look after the planet which is fantastic! 10/10 cant fault them!

The best nursery! Wonderful staff! My daughter is looking forward to the next day of Monkey Puzzle. She speaks Ukrainian, but their nice girls managed to find common language with her and make her happy with other kids! Awesome place for bringing up kids!

Fantastic care from all the staff. My child loves going to nursery and they put on lots of great activities. Would highly recommend
