Joys Coffee House

Ordered a cup of tea and latte to go, when handed drinks with lids on we hadn't realised there was no milk in the tea. Only realised when we'd walked to the river! Would have appreciated staff just saying "do you take milk" or "add your own milk to taste". This was our first visit to this cafe and I just felt in the way while we were waiting for our drinks. . I choose independent cafes for the atmosphere and little chit chat you have - maybe it was just a bad day?

Really nice coffee but same price for a takeaway as sit in and person serving at lunchtime today wasnt very friendly. Wont return which is a shame.

Its not often that I feel compelled to write a review for a quick cup of coffee but after visiting joys coffee house I thought do one. This afternoon my husband and I popped into Otley and fancied somewhere for a quick cup of coffee. We like to go to independent cafes and stumbled across this delightful cafe. It has a lovely atmosphere and the staff were really friendly. Its currently very patriotically decorated for the forthcoming coronation. Its also dog friendly which as a dog owner know that can be sometimes hard to find. We both had a lovely latte and although we were only in the cafe for about 15 mins we were both really impressed with the atmosphere, decorations and the menu which looked very reasonably priced. If Im ever in Otley again I will definitely revisit this place! Its 5 stars from us! X

Lovely, very dog friendly caf in the centre of Otley. Delicious food with even a dog menu! The bagel with halloumi and avocado was the best Ive had. There are even hooks for attaching your dog. Highly recommend. Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian options.
