Aire Valley Surgery

Had to add to this!! after 2 further terrible experiences. A Doctor who was basically insulting and rude when i could barely speak due to illness and now using their newly amended online desk. Despite saying they would call to arrange an appointment they simply text on a number you cant reply telling you that you have an appointment for chest pains a week away on a bank holiday at a surgery in a different town!!! Aire Valley surgery is by far the worst run surgery it has ever been my unfortunate experience to be attached to. Are there any other options in the Yeadon area? Rude and unhelpful reception staff if you are able to get through to them! Otherwise forced to use the online form. 3 times no call back just an automated text saying they couldnt get hold me. Finally after twice managing to speak to doctors they appeared to not have read a single thing from my record. Like groundhog day over and over to get a simple prescription. They appear to be using covid as an excuse to do absolutely anything to provide medical care. A total bureaucratic waste of time. Its no wonder people turn to alternative sources of pain relief. Its such a shame as the few times i visited pre covid there were some fantastic doctors who now appear to have vanished and been replaced by angry receptionists who try to basically stop you talking to them. I would advise anykne to find any other surgery if they can.

Had to contact the surgery recently through their online form. The form was really easy to fill in and I got a call back from a doctor within an hour and after a telephone consultation a prescription was issued to the chemist next door. Excellent service.

Recent experience has been excellent with appointments on time and the staff lovely. Special mention to Nurse Jade who is always smiling. The online booking is a bit hit and miss and appointments hard to come by unless you visit the surgery.

This practice is brilliant alway get urgent appointments. The staff and doctors are brilliant ,always so helpful. Thank you all .

Terrible care, almost impossible to get an appointment, cancelled appointments at the last minute. Sad how this surgery has declined over the years.
