Kev quoted my 86 year old grandma 180 to move her settee, electric bed and large appliances. He turned up today 2 hours before planned, was extremely rude, said half way through the job that he wasnt lifting her bed as it was too heavy (he already had all the info and details prior to arrival and agreed to moving the electric bed - he hadnt even asked to come view before hand to see if this would be an issue) and said he was going to unload his van and not move her, he then upped the quote to 250 and said he would refuse the work if we werent prepared to pay the inflated figure. Obviously my Grandma needed to move today, this move was organised with Kev weeks in advance so he knew we had no choice in the matter but to pay. Disgusted with the service for an elderly lady that has used this company 3 times previously. ********** In response to your reply Kev. The items intended to be moved were quoted to you exactly on the phone. You even acknowledged this yesterday and said it was someone else that took the call on your behalf. The electric bed you refer to was the one that you moved from my Grandmas over to a house in Blackpool a while ago when she got a new one. You didnt query the electric bed in anyway on the phone when booking, surely this is something you should do if you know some electric beds may be an issue for you? The only items we needed you to move was her furniture and appliances. My parents were going to move the rest bit by bit for her, but seeing as you upped your price on the spot as you called it a full house move, they let you do a full house move.
