I recently had a disappointing experience with Jet2 Holidays regarding the cancellation of my holiday package. My daughter fell ill on the day of our arrival, and we spent the entire day in the Emergency Room. Despite my efforts to contact Jet2 Holidays and find a solution, my booking was cancelled without my request. I called Jet2 Holidays on the 21st and 22nd of April, and despite promises of a callback from a manager, I did not receive any response or resolution. I was willing to pay extra for new flights and use the remaining days of my holiday, but was told that my entire booking was cancelled. As a loyal customer, I expected better service and support in such unforeseen circumstances. I did not want anything for free, but simply wanted to pay for new flights and utilize the remaining days of my holiday as per my original booking. However, Jet2 Holidays did not provide any options or alternatives, leaving me feeling disappointed, inconvenienced, and frustrated. I have requested a refund for the hotel and return flights, as I was not given the opportunity to utilize them due to the cancellation of my booking by Jet2 Holidays. I am disappointed with the handling of this situation and the lack of communication and responsiveness from Jet2 Holidays. I hope for a prompt and satisfactory resolution to this matter, including the refund of the funds as requested. As a long-time customer of Jet2 Holidays, I expected better customer service and support in such situations. I am currently exploring further legal actions to seek a resolution. I hope that Jet2 Holidays takes immediate action to rectify this issue and restore my faith in their company. In conclusion, I am deeply disappointed with Jet2 Holidays' handling of my holiday cancellation. The lack of communication, unresponsiveness, and cancellation of my booking without my request have left me with a negative experience. Drago Park Hotel, fuerterventura. Poor food, poor customer rep, poor location, miss sold all inclusive plus and lied to by jet 2 about what was local to the hotel and what the all-inclusive plus was. The hotel was short staffed. I took loads of pictures of how bad things were and set them to the jet 2 rep and he actually offered to downgrade my package! I've never known this! Also we met a lot of British people there who were very disappointed and who paid a lot less than us. I've responded to the response I've had from Jet2. I look forward to their reply. Still had no response from a complaint I made, which Jet2 asked me to email them about. I think it shows they have no intention of investigating the issues I had with my holiday, which reiterates my beliefs that you should not book with jet2 Date of experience:December 26, 2022
