Awful. Do not eat here! Inside really looked dirty. We should have left at that point but decided to sit outside. Empty glasses everywhere, overflowing ashtrays. Food arrived - steak ciabatta and onions rings. Horrendous. Steak just a large lump of fat, onion rings soaking in fat. Just all really awful and totally disappointing. Luckily we had the dog so at least someone enjoyed something. Unfriendly service. Would not recommend and will definitely NOT be going back!

20 for a beer, lime and lemonade, blackcurrant and lemonade and a coke. Drinks were mostly ice. Absolute rip off. Terrible music playing in the garden for some reason. It's not the place to go.

Popped in here after a 10k walk. Drinks fine but having advised staff that the men's toikets had no soap and the sinks were dirty,no action was taken to address it. Having raised the issue with another member of staff 40 minutes later, that member of staff put the service of drinks as a higher priority than hygiene stating that people are waiting for drinks. On asking for a manager, the attitude was that they would do so if they see them. The pub was fairly empty and it was clear that the person was just reaching for excuses rather than dealing with the earlier problem. The staff have clearly have forgotten how pubs closed over the Pandemic and do not have the skills to deal with simple issues when they are raised. Hopefully having spoken to the manager they will ensure that the toikets are fit for use and that the staff deal with poor quality facilities when this is brought to their attention and provide better hospitality.

Service is always good, and very friendly. The managers there are very down to earth, and easy to get on with. I have yet to have a meal there, but feel sure that it will be good.
