Karl is a fantastic coach. My son has been attending the childrens classes on Saturday mornings with Karl. He thoroughly enjoys it, and gains so much knowledge and confidence. Having the ability to teach children technical skills, whilst having fun is rare, and Karl executes it perfectly.

My 2 boys have been coming to Karls classes for the last few months. They really enjoy them. They get so much help from karl & the coaches and have learnt so much.

Started just before Christmas and iam already obsessed with the sport because of the knowledge the club provides, everyone is friendly and welcoming and all the different skill sets chip in to help out, My daughter now goes every Saturday and live to get dressed in her new gi I would recommend coming down and giving it a good crack no matter your age and size. I have been training at Oswestry Jiu Jitsu Academy for nearly two years now and I cant speak highly enough of Karl & the club that he has created for all of us. Karl has brought in a wrestling coach for the benefit of us & also has a kids class on the weekend which I help out as my son attends. OJJA prides itself on its friendly and welcoming atmosphere, where both beginners and experienced practitioners can train in a safe and supportive environment. The classes are well-structured and cater to the needs of individuals of all ages and skill levels and I can vouch for that as I that person who was nervous when joining. For kids, OJJA offers a dedicated kids' program that aims to teach children important life skills, such as discipline, self-confidence, and respect. The classes are designed to be fun and engaging, and Karl uses age-appropriate teaching methods to ensure that the children enjoy learning and remain motivated. My son attends the classes, loves everything about the class and the environment Karl has created. For adults, OJJA offers a range of classes, which includes fundamentals, and advanced technique based classes. The classes are tailored to the needs of individuals, and Karl is there to provide one-on-one feedback and support to help students achieve their goals. Some individuals including myself regularly compete in competitions around the UK which Karl comes along and supports everyone. If you're looking to train, get fit or just have fun, there is no better place than OJJA!

We highly recommend Karls kid's jiu-jitsu classes. You can see Karls passion and enthusiasm for the sport when hes teaching. His interaction with the kids is amazing, Karl and his team of trainers are great role models for the kids, my boys are enjoying the classes.
