Quieter than other NT properties I have visited recently. Rooms on 1st floor not open to visit, as shortage of volunteers to look after them & some on gnd floor could be viewed awaiting 'restoration' to a previous era. Visited caf in the 'stables' - tasty 'wild garlic' soup & roll + large cappuccino & cake.
