Absolutely fantastic experience with Dr. Sawa so far. From the start he's been transparent, meticulous in his assessment and easy to talk to. I couldn't be more thankful for the much needed understanding that his diagnosis has given me. He worked with me to create a thorough treatment plan that worked best for me as an individual, including indepth discussions of both the pros and cons of different medications and therapies. I'd definitely recommend.

I was misdiagnosed by Dr Sawa as having ADHD. I have finally been diagnosed with bipolar disorder type 2. This doctor prescribed me stimulant medication, did not listen to my feedback when I was pleading that my symptoms where getting worse. And when doing a care plan for reducing Paroxetine, (the medication I should of been taking alongside mood stabilizer's) he gave me one month to reduce the dosage when I have now found out this should of been done over the course of 4 to 6 months. The consequences of these drastic measures and the lack of understanding, rushed reports and poor listening have made my life a living hell for the past 7 months. It has affected me socially, financially, emotionally and i am most worried about the long-term effects this will have on my brain. I would highly recommend avoiding this doctor's "care" at all costs

Dr Sawa has been excellent throughout the past year, providing me with all the support and resources that I needed to begin my recovery. I fully recommend Matthew to anyone who is in need of help and would like to thank him once again for the tremendous progress that I have made in the last 12 months, its really helped change my life for the better.

I reached out to Dr. Sawa with suspected AHDH like symptoms. He kept an open mind, didn't jump to any conclusions and was very diligent. After a few sessions I started treatment and my life has improved significantly in all regards. This is a lengthy process that takes time and work to change years of habitual behaviour but Dr. Sawa will guide you through it.
