Reids Estate Agents

Refused to give details of the 600 deposit we paid on our rental. When asked several times over 18 months, they avoided the question and subject every time. We are now having to issue a court order against them. Extremely uncooperative. And quite rude when you question them. I know my stuff. And I always research everything from both sides before making a point of anything, they didn't like that they couldn't pull the wool over our eyes and ceased contact, still in possession of our money.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE! Do NOT advertise, buy or rent through this "company". An absolute shambles. Reids have hung on to our deposit despite us moving out of our previous property in November 2020. Reids have not responded to numerous emails, and are almost impossible to get trough to on the phone. Within my legal rights, I've formally asked for a Data Subject Access Request, as well as their in-house complaints procedure for Ombudsmen purposes. Unsurprisingly, Reids have not responded, and still have our deposit. The deposit was supposedly sent out via cheque, however after confirming our new address, this is obviously a complete load of bulls***. Please do not allow this joke of a company to put you in the same circumstances as we find ourselves in at the moment. Untrustworthy staff, incompetent management. PLEASE AVOID!

AVOID AVOID AVOID. After I put my house on the market with these jokers I didn't get any communication and I felt they were dishonest about the viewings. They managed a total of 3 in 6 weeks. Move the property to another agent who price matched, gave a brilliant weekly update, managed loads of viewings and sold the property within 3 weeks. Run for the hills.
