As the sales and marketing manager of a large company i contacted DBS as they claim to be the Largest leaflet distribution company in the UK. i decided to give them the job of distributing 50000 leaflets over a 2 week period. i expressed concern that we were not seeing the expected results as we would normally achieve given the amount distributed. so within 1 hour i received a call from an interested person who wanted some information on one of our products. it seamed a strange call so i took down the number. 1 week later i called this number to find out it was one of the subcontractors DBS use to deliver there leaflets who was obviously trying to make me believe the leaflets had been delivered. i n my honest opinion i dont think that any of the 50000 leaflets got delivered and would advise anyone who is thinking about using this company to find a more professional one!

I am very disappointed in the service provided by DBS Marketing and would warn others thinking about using them to distribute leaflets that they may not get exactly what they think they are buying inton, I certainly didn't and have had no satisfactory outcome to my emails to them..... BE WARNED!!!! This wasn't the cheapest quote i got from Leaflet distribution companys in my area, but i was assured they were the best and guaranteed deliveries as specified. I became very disappointed at the drop as i purposely made sure that 2 postcodes i requested drops in included my home address and a flat with a front door and letterbox in my work postcode. I contacted DBS Marketing and was assured that all the leaflets (just under 30000) were delivered and they sent me a nice certificate to confirm the deliveries. After i received their certificate stating deliveries were made in full i contacted DBS Marketing reference why i had not received the leaflets in the 2 postcodes i specified i wanted drops in. I received and email from DBS Marketing stating that they don't in fact deliver to100% of addresses and that they could confirm that 2 numbers in my street were dlivered to and that there were various reasons why they may not have delivered to the rest including... No Junk Mail/No unaddressed mail sign Beware of the dog/dog in garden Letterbox not visible from the roadside Obstruction to letterbox (car/wheelie bin) Locked gates or stiff gates Intercom systems Rural (out of 30mph zone) Apartments/flats Businesses Human Error NONE of these applied to the 2 addresses in the postcodes i specified, when asked about this i received absolutley no further replies, i recived no more contact, they just ignored me. Make your own mind up about this company but i for one will not be using it again or recommending it to anyone else.
