Local Vocals is a fun choir filled with lots of lovely members. Everyone is welcoming and friendly and we learn new material all of the time. I play piano for this choir but I also sing in the choir as sometimes we sing to piano, tracks or acapella. I enjoy the different varieties of songs we learn. The choir has many opportunities to perform and offers lots of social get togethers.

I joined the choir three weeks ago - it's brilliant - so welcoming, so enjoyable, really good choice of songs - Jenna and Julie inspire confidence and make learning new arrangements really easy.

My mum's a member and I've recently joined. Everyone's really friendly and easy to talk to. We sing a variety of songs so there's something for everyone.

I've been part of Local Vocals for 18 months now and it's ace! Jenna & Julie do a fabulous job leading us all and they've adapted to keep us going strong throughout 2020. It's a fun, varied, pretty informal choir with lots of performance opportunities (Covid permitting). You don't need to be a 'singer' to sound good in a choir (think how good football crowds sound!) The only requirement is that you enjoy it
