Insight IAPT

Lucky you even got a one star, got referred to you lot and all was had the promise of something looking good but boy was I about to be disappointed. Was getting telephone counselling, both my sessions I had werent even sessions as such since all I did on the phone was fill out more forms. I was told I would get a call back the following week to start my counselling session whilst waiting for news of my referral to a place called live it well. I NEVER got this call ... its been a while since and I decided today to call insight healthcare to see what was going on ... and guess what? Turns out Ive been discharged ... without acknowledging it with me first ... just brilliant! Worst service out there, truly wont recommend.

Unfortunately I would not reccommend to anyone suffering from mental health issues, as only made mine worse due to my experience. I was given weekly phone appointments, same time every week, for a course to help anxiety issues. On more than one occasion however, I waited for a call that did not happen, with no communication. I always had to contact them only to be told it was due to "admin errors". This is simply not good enough considering the nature of their business, causing more stress than help. When I was able to speak to someone I wasn't impressed with the service from them either. Unhelpful to say the least. There are some fantastic companies/groups you can reach out to, but I simply cannot reccommend Insight Healthcare.

I live in thanet kent and was refured to insight by my gp for severe depression and anxiety problems. Insight took weeks to contact me in the first instance and the woman on the phone sounded like she couldn't be asked to evrn speak to me. I then had an assessment interview prior to therapy and was told they would be in contact within 10 weeks maximum for my first therapy session. That was back in beginning of feb 2019 and it is now june. I have heard nothing. I have sent 5 emails to insight but have been ignored and made endless phonecalls each phone call they say i will get someone to call you back and nothing happens. Useless unprofessional waste of time organisation.

Had an initial telephone appointment over the phone to see whether I was suitable for their services. Angela seemed professional at first until after asking me about my intentions regarding suicide she thought it suitable to burst into laughter, then procceed to lecture me on how my death would wreck my families lives as if that's something I haven't thought about for the past 30 years. I don't want my experience to put others off using this service. I thought she was very inappropriate but anyone makes mistakes. I suggest Angela get some re-training or change careers?
