The appointment system and attitude towards patients at this Surgery sucks. It has never been great, but over the years that I have been a patient here it has steadily got worse. My under-age Daughter has even been refused an appointment, and sent to the Medical walk-in centre in Grays (who actually demanded to know why this Dr had refused to see her.) I tried to book an appointment for 5 days time on my day off next week. I said that I was unable to call to get an appointment on my day off at 8.30am because I would be driving, and was offered an appointment in 2 weeks time. The Receptionist didn't listen and repeatedly told me to call at 8.30am "on the day". If they have appointments held / available on that day anyway, and a patient calls and tells them that is an issue that cannot wait for 2 weeks to be attended to, then one of these appointments should be used! Avoid this practise if you want efficient or helpful service, they simply do not want to provide it.
