County Fish Bar

Great chippy this. Very friendly staff. Food is always spot on. Usually have sweet and sour, curry or salt and pepper dishes on a Saturday tea time. Also do an excellent fish n chips. I always ring ahead as can get very busy. Good parking right outside. A busy chippy is a good chippy. Nuff said.

My boyfriend and I went to County fish Bar in Ormskirk earlier and I purchased Chips. Fish and peas for us both.When I asked the girl behind the counter if they were mush peas she looked at me as if I was stupid and replied I think so. The meal cost me 15.60. Which I thought was absolutely disgusting. When we got home my boyfriend looked at his meal with disgust and said these peas are not mushy peas and they were as hard as anything. The meals were absolutely disgusting for the price I paid for them and we certainly won't be going there again as the standard of the food as gone right down . We were both very disappointed as we were both looking forward to a lovely fish. Chips and peas. But we were very disappointed and we won't be going there again in the future.
