St Bartholomew's Church

We visited the exterior of this fine church on a Sunday evening and could hear a service underway. We were particularly impressed by the War Memorial just outside the church's main entrance door. Also, there is a Roll of Honour to the Orford Armed Forces personnel and civilians who who died during World War One and World War Two just inside the entrance way to the main door. The War Memorial is lit at night and it casts its shadow over the front of the church. This is impressive, in my opinion. It is well worth visiting the War Memorial and the Roll of Honour.

A surprisingly large church for a relatively small community - the interior is in very good condition. Pleasant atmosphere with modern technology donation solution. Well worth a look round if you are in the area.
