Rear Ground Floor Ext (13.5m2), c30k, c6 Months Landscaping (83m2), c10k, c5 Months Initially I sought 6 x quotes (2021) but I decided to go with AW Gen Builders Ltd due to a process of elimination and where they ticked the most boxes (online reviews, local builders, cost etc). The building work was conducted by local sub-contractors, all of whom provided quality building craftsmanship and where Andy would always manage to source materials whenever they were needed. I am extremely pleased with the overall standard of workmanship and would fully recommend Andy Watkins to anyone who is perhaps thinking of having similar building works being completed.

This was a major work for us, removing block walls, enlarging existing aperture for new doors, moving electric meter box, removal and install of kitchen and appliances, removal of old boiler and relocation of a new one. Choosing a builder is difficult & we engaged a few. I was impressed by Andy from the get-go, he provided a detailed estimate & accepted a detailed written agreement in return. Started on time & progressed the work with his team. Good communication throughout ensuring that we were happy with the work. Payment terms were excellent with each stage completed before payment. A really trusting way to do business for us & we felt in control of the project. Standard of work was high, teams polite. Nothing was too much trouble, any problems along the way sorted with ease. In short, a really positive experience, we are very happy with the end product and I have no problem in recommending him to others.

Andy built a kitchen extension to the rear of my house and additional bedroom with en suite over my existing garage, plus some groundworks outside. From the start he was excellent, providing a competitive quote with a full breakdown of costs and materials. Throughout the build he kept us well informed of what was next, consulted often to ensure we were happy and accommodated all our changes. His workforce were great; they kept the place tidy, were always very polite, and all did an excellent job. Andy regularly inspected their work and where he wasnt happy made sure it was corrected. As a result the build was finished with only a couple of minor snags. Id thoroughly recommend Andy and his team. Ive now asked him to do more work and their can be no better accolade than repeat business.

Andy and his team worked with us to create our new extension with garden room and new bathrooms, along with changes to stairs & porch. They liaised well with steelworkers and piling company. Just a delay in the glazing units for the garden room- our fault not Andys
