My first visit to Hillgrove nature and definitely not my last. A fantastic morning of photography and bird watching. If your looking for great photography hides, in a wonderful peaceful setting then I would strongly recommend visit Claire at Hillgrove nature, if you enjoy the sights and sounds of woodland wildlife then this is the place for you. The variety of bird species was fantastic and the natural perches made for some great pictures. I look forward to a return visit soon.

I had a good walk round the site today and have found ten potential test pit locations. Weather was kind to us, as was our hosts. Thank you, look forward to to returning

If, like me, you are happy to sit quietly for four hours in a well built hide and watch birds coming and going, this is the place for you. I photographed in excess of a dozen species, plus a duck, many squirrels and a butterfly. Claire the proprietor is very welcoming and will show you where to go in the little dingle area as I call it. Personally, I will be going back again soon and then probably in an Autumn season as well.
