        Walkability: Quiet lanes to walk the dog along and a public footpath not far. Also, small grassy area to the rear of the pub. Noteworthy details: Lovely old pub in a quiet country setting, ideal with the dog. Comfortable rooms and excellent food. Friendly staff. Will visit again.

        We stayed here the night before and upon the evening of our wedding It would be helpful to have milk in the rooms rather than to have to ask. Especially if you are unfortunate to arrive late in the evening, and not be aware that you have to ask for a flask of milk. You therefore wake being unable to have a nice hot drink unless black. A lovely stay, however. Our rooms were very clean and comfortable and we were made most welcome. Thank you!
