A cosy, friendly, local pub, with a great atmosphere where the landlord is very welcoming. The food is also very good, so I recommend booking if you want to eat, as it gets busy!

This is the best Sunday roast that we have ever tasted in Bristol by a mile and they're are some great pubs here. The presentation of the food, the friendly staff and perfectly cooked beef was all dressed with the most stunning red wine gravy and side vegetables with cauliflower cheese as well. This will now be our local pub for Sunday lunch. I cannot recommend this place enough it's incredible. Compliments to the chef and all the staff who made us feel so welcome in this beautiful country pub. See you again soon!

Lovely night at the fox last night. The new chef is fabulous, went for a friends birthday, & the staff really made it into a wonderful evening. The good was great & do was the atmosphere, will be back very soon. Thank you.
