Broomfield Residential Care

This is an excellent choice of residential care homes, and one of Olney's best kept secrets..! A light & positive atmosphere, well appointed space & bespoke bedrooms for residents. My experience of the staff & care afforded to an elderly relative is first class.

Sebastian was very rude to me. I called to sort out my placement for college and his attitude was the worse thing ever. He just assumed that I will not be good at my job (and specifically said I dont want to waste my time with you),when he had not even seen me,just because Im a student. How disappointing! Its great if they provide good service,but I cant except that he speaks like that to someone who he knew nothing about. Id give no star if I could,as well.

This excellent home cared for my late sister for around 2 years. She had a range of health issues. The staff, since the day she was admitted, looked after her very well. The manager was very understanding and did his best to provide the best care for her as well as ensuring cohesion with other residents. We are sure such admirable care and service will continue to be provided to every resident there now and in the future. Our strong Thank You to all the carers, cooks, maintenance team., management... to all the staff. Best Wishes and God bless you all.

Mum moved to Broomfield two months ago and we couldnt be happier. Mum has improved beyond all expectations because she is so settled and content. The staff are kind, caring and patient and most importantly have given Mum her dignity back as they treat her with respect. They give her all the time and encouragement she needs. Visiting is a joy. The team are so welcoming (even to Mums dog who is positively encouraged to visit with me!). Everyone at Broomfield adheres to the highest safety standards which gives me so much reassurance. Her room is spacious and always immaculate. Mum loves the time she spends in the communal area and really appreciates the garden and all the activities provided by the staff. The manager and all the team are an absolute credit to their profession and communication is a joy phone calls are answered promptly and politely, and emails responded to quickly. We are all so grateful to everyone at Broomfield. Thank you for giving Mum a home which she can thrive in.
