Magnificent prize winning municipal park. Visitors match the diverse population of Oldham. Series of gradual improvements have made this space available to all the community. Has its own caf in the boathouse. Several routes for dog lovers, bike riders on certain days, and family fun days. Several new developments in progress.

Lovely place for a family and friends picnic. A lovely big park in Oldham near a shopping park.

Great park full of interesting monuments, statues and fountains. Has a boat house and cafe which we didn't use but people came out with various ice cream and hot drinks. There is a baby change in the same building. We didn't use this but did use the ladies around the side with our toddlers..there was poo smeared on the wall and the doors were super creaky, my son was terrified! Just needs a bit more love and maintenance by staff... didn't see any around. There's a huge play area for kids with lots of equipment for different ages so less waiting around for teenagers to move on. Disabled toliets are inside this area. We had a picnic on the green and the children ran and rolled down the hill. The lake has geese which people were feeding and there's some bridges around and across which the children loved. We parked on kings road opposite the lake. It's parallel on road but there was plenty of room. If you drive further up then you'll find several car parks with limited parking, not sure if there's a charge but doubt it.
